ABOUT

Here’s a breakdown of what mission schools are about:
Purpose and Objectives
1. Education and Literacy: Mission schools primarily aimed to offer basic education and literacy to communities, often in regions where formal schooling was scarce.2. Religious Instruction: Alongside general education, these schools frequently included religious teachings, aiming to convert students to the missionary's faith and instill religious values.
3. Social Services: Many mission schools also provided other services, such as healthcare and vocational training, to support community development.
Historical Context
. Colonial Era: During the colonial period, mission schools played a significant role in shaping educational systems in various colonies. They often became some of the first formal educational institutions in these regions.
Human child is born as a completely dependent and helpless creature. Since birth, for a considerably long period of time, a human baby can’t even hold his/her neck straight – running, walking or even sitting is a far cry! The baby can’t even picks up his/her right food, he/she take up everything around him/her as food and puts these in mouth! Whereas, other animal’s babies, such as cow, dog, cat, bird, reptiles etc. all are born as much independent creatures.
